Company Bio:
Named after the historic tributary that flows a half mile from
our home, Brandywine River Representatives LLC was founded by Andy
and Melissa Molter in 2002 to deliver specialty products to specialty
retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region. On the heels of winning "Rep
of the Year" for Katadyn/Optimus in 2004, the company expanded
with the addition of Sales Rep David Donahue (now with GoLite).
In 2006 BRR grew again with the additions of Sales Rep Justin Lannan
and Office Manager Kalai King and a move to a new office on the
banks of the Brandywine River. 2009 brought continued success with
Brandywine winning "Rep of the Year" for three of their
brands - Vasque, Eagle Creek & Katadyn/Optimus and another move
to a larger office in Greenville, Delaware (still within a half
mile of the river where it all started!).
Today Justin Lannan represents the northern portion of BRR's territory
(NY, PA & NJ) while Andy Molter handles Key Accounts and the
southern territory (DE, VA, WV, DC, MD) along with Manhattan and
Long Island. We are proud to offer our vendors and partners award
winning customer service and sales management of Vasque, ExOfficio,
Eagle Creek, Katadyn filters /Optimus stoves, Darn Tough, Cloudveil
& Nikwax.

At the age of 18, I attained my Eagle Scout award in the Boy Scouts
of America.
With the passion for the outdoors, I attended Keene State College
in New Hampshire where I received my degree in Business management.
- " After a few job opportunities post college, I landed
in a fledging outdoor retail chain named Colorado, where I worked
for 5 years as a Store manager and staff trainer.
- " 1998 I left retail and joined Peter Burnes and Associates
and began my "repping" carrier with good friend Peter
Novak.
- " 2002, my wife, Melissa and I founded Brandywine River
Representatives LLC.
- " 2004 and 2006 respectively, our daughters Ellie and Katie
joined the family. They continue to amaze us everyday.
- " Today, we enjoy the time we get to spend with our families,
friends and our dog Seamus. I am actively involved in sailing
with my father, and I am always looking forward to getting back
outside!

Justin has a diverse outdoor industry background including
outdoor education with adjudicated youth, sales with Columbia Sportswear
(The Davidson Group) and retail experience with Trail Creek Outfitters.
Justin currently lives in Wilmington, Delaware. His enjoys running,
backpacking, skiing, and has a growing interest in adventure racing. |
| Kalai King |
Kalai King is the Office Manager for Brandywine River
Reps. Kalai met Andy in college, bonded over Jimmy Buffett and traded
guitar lessons for sailing lessons. Kalai is still as good at sailing
as Andy is at guitar. When he's not in the office, Kalai is the Entertainment
Director for the Delaware Sports League, a recording and performing
Singer/Songwriter and recent home remodeler. He has a Blue Heeler
(Australian Cattle Dog) named Maka Uli (means "Black Eye"
in Hawaiian) and drives a Jeep. He's an avid Phillies fan, summers
in Dewey Beach, Delaware and is extremely bothered when people (especially
professional journalists) confuse "fewer" and "less",
"they're/their/there" and its/it's.
